This table in based on a medieval map of the mediterranean sea and was specially designed for the Parures Nouvelles exhibition at the Palais Jacques Coeur in Bourges. Its motif recalls the sea and land routes taken by the king’s Grand Argentier to trade goods in the 15th century Mediterranean area.
